"Everyone Falls In Love" Jamaican Reggae/Dancehall duo Tanto Metro and Devonte are back with a new album

Do you remember the "Everyone Falls In Love" Jamaican Reggae/Dancehall duo Tanto Metro and Devonte? They're back with a new self-titled album, produced by Grammy Award winning producers Sly and Robbie.

From the 10 track album, the duo's choice for their lead single, is a remake of the late Reggae musician Joe Higgs of the 1950s - 60s Joe and Wilson duo called, "There's  A Reward." The inspirational track according to a release resonates a "message of hope.." for the former Shocking Vibes recording artistes who revealed that they have gone through rough patches. "Our journey has been very challenging thus far but we know that there's a reward for us, and it's gonna be great."

Tanto Metro and Devonte rose to fame in 1997 with the Penthouse produced hit single, "Everyone Falls In Love" which subsequently made their debut album of the same name and skyrocketed to the top of Billboard's Reggae/Dancehall albums chart. The single also peaked at #6 on Billboard's Canada Top 100 chart and significantly lead to their landing a major deal with American Record company, Epic Records.  The two, went on to record a second and third album on VP Records and Universal labels respectively and landed another hit single entitled, "Give It To Her" which peaked at #85 on US Billboard Hot 100 in 2002.

With an consistent track record of performances across the US for years, Deejay Tanto Metro and singer, Devonte have now recorded and released their 4th studio album in 2015. In relation to this latest development the duo asserted that their involvement on this project was more hands on. "We were far more involved in the creation of this album than any of the previous one. We were involved musically, creatively, emotionally and spiritually plus," alluding to the fact that they have not been seen or heard in a while they added, "we have not released an album in a while now, so this is like our first album all over again" a release stated.

Now available on iTunes, the Sly and Robbie presents "Tanto Metro and Devonte" album's track listing feature other tracks such as; The Jam, Hey Ya Hey, Maybe I Love You, No More, Request, She Ran Away,, Ruff Ruff, Already Know and Falling In Love. According to the veteran Dancehall entertainers the tracks are a combination of happiness, dance, love and inspiration, "we wanted to make a universally happy album so the world can sing, dance, love and be inspired."
