VP Records to present a traveling exhibition titled "A Reggae Music Journey" at Best of the Best Music Fest in Miami

VP Records will be presenting "A Reggae Music Journey" exhibition during the 9th annual Best of the Best, the longest running Caribbean music festival. The exhibition will display images and artifacts of some of the world's most loved and admired reggae artistes.

To showcase an exhibition such as this is important to both the organizers of the Best of the Best show and reggae's only music label VP Records because it's designed to help preserve reggae's culture music and artists in an exceptional way. Curated by illustrator Michael Thompson, who has created many of the graphic images to be displayed, this multi-media experience will showcase iconic images of many artistes who contributed to the success of reggae music and photographed by some of the masters of the art including Peter Simon, Marlon Ajamu Myrie, Roy Sweetland and others.

The exhibit will also includes a documentary video chronicling historic events in the reggae music industry. Best of the Best will be held, Labour Day weekend, Sunday May 24th, at Bayfront Park in Miami, Florida.
