BRAMMA IN THE SCHEME OF THINGS!!
Of all the nominations vetted out by the organizers of the 2010 EME Awards that involves the artistes we represent, Bramma’s nomination is the most pleasant surprise. Understanding the intricacies of how winners are selected, this nomination is indeed a major achievement for the now seasoned Dancehall artiste who ended 2009 with an impressive STING performance and his first performance on a major show, while fresh from his first tour in Europe. New Image Promotions congratulates all artistes on their nominations and hope the best person wins in the respective categories. The nominations for the artistes we represent are as follows:

RUFFI-ANN NOMINATED IN TWO CATEGORIES FOR EME!!
Known as Lady Shabba back in the 90’s Ruffi-Ann was an aggressive artiste who often time displays her bad attitude on and off the stage. This was her way of venting her frustration or rebelling against the harsh treatment she received from trying to make an impact on the local music industry. Her boisterousness brought about in clashes across the island was humorous to many fans and created a name somewhat but Ruffi-Ann wanted more. In 2007 the mother of three lovely kids, penned the lyrics to a song entitled ‘Save the juvenile” which became almost an instant hit. The song suited her, she felt good about it and decides then that this is the direction in which she intends to steer her career. Since then Ruff-Ann released several conscious Reggae/Dancehall tracks to include; Ghetto Youths Unite, Don't Leave You Condom, Enemy Dem and her most current, Nuh Work Nuh Deh. Her efforts never went unnoticed as she is nominated in two categories, Biggest Comeback Artiste and Singjay of the Year (female) for the 2010 EME Awards. The determined and hard working Sharon “Ruffi-Ann” Peterkin and other artistes with the same temperament she displays are an inspiration to others and the lesson to be learnt from their relentless efforts is that its never over until its over.
NESBETH NOMINATED SINGJAY OF YEAR FOR EME 2010 AWARDS!
Nesbeth promotional plan for 2009 was to get his image and music out to a broader market, create hits and launch a campaign that will enhance his chances of getting more shows in the United States, the Caribbean and Europe. Booked to appear on Reggae Summerfest in Washington DC and Red Hot Boatride which kick off from the docks of Chelsea Pier in New York City, Nesbeth ceased the opportunity to kick of some promotion in the big apple and extended his trip for two (2) weeks. The decision worked in his favour and further led to his performances on New Jersey Reggae Fest, Irie Jamborie and Rock With Squeeze in New York. Nesbeth also did several interviews backstage prior to his performances and got a chances to visit as well as sit in over ten (10) live radio inteviews in and around the city. Among his list of acheivements, Nesbeth landed an exclusive interview which led to a centre spread and cover feature in the October issue of New York base Gorgeous Magazine. On his return to the island Nesbeth press on with the promotion with the focus on radio and “Drive By”, Jan Biggs Production single. In november he got settled in the studios where he commenced work on two (2) releases for the Christmas holidays. Drive By did well and is still lingering on a number of local charts, the single is said to be "an anthem" on Metro FM in Kenya. Nesbeth released two (2) singles as promised “A Nuh Suh Mi Waan Live” and Question in the midst of the Christmas season, he performed on a number of local events including STING 2009 and ended his year on a positive note. Nesbeth is pleased with the nominations for “Singjay of the Year” as he believes "it is in recognition of the work done in 2009" and the world of opportunities created for the artiste in 2010.

Sophia Brown "Weak To You" single is #4 on Stampede Street Chart. Look out for Brown with her breakout hit, "Gimmie that good love" video it's hot!!. "Weak To you" and the entire Spotlight album is available for download on itunes, Amazon, Napster, Rhapsody and all etailers worldwide.

Texas born duo Roots Revealers is rising to the Top . The duo's single entitle "Sweetie" featuring Chaka Demus is now occupying the #13 on Hype TV top 20 chart and #4 on Hype VTX video Top Ten. The duo plans to release another single from their album in March along with a video.

Hightlight!! Fantan Mojah has recorded and released what already seems to be a controversial and potential hit song entitle "Tax Invasion" produced by Tremma House Productions on the Massacre Rhythm. "Tax Invasion" earned massive forwards and replays and mumsel, a testament that this song is indeed a potential hit. As the name suggests, Tax Invasion addresses Jamaica current economic problems and the many increases on basic food items brought on by the Government in an effort to cover the countries debts. Other artistes have addressed the situation but Fantan Mojah's "Tax Invasion" track on the Massacre riddim is the cereal (see real) being fed to the masses at this time as he continues in his mission to advocate for poor people.
