It's been a while since we've heard from Michael Dawkins whose reggae rendition of the 1970s worldwide hit by the Hollies, "He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother" is still riding the waves of consistent airplay among radio stations across the Caribbean, US and United Kingdom since it's 2012 release. The renditions are appeasing to reggae fans and the overwhelming feedback has left the artiste beaming with pride.  The video for He Aint Heavy He's My Brother has received over 200,000 views on Youtube and is still in rotation on cable stations in Jamaica.  Dawkins classic remake of late Delroy Wilson's all time hit, "Rain From The Sky" has placed yet another single by the Big Scope Records recording artiste, on several radio jocks must play lists.

As Michael Dawkins musical journey has been bitter/sweet caught between work and family obligations but he along with his label have manage to pull it off. Dawkins has even extended himself in other ventures to add to his repertoire; One such is the distribution of hand-made art in New York produced by a Zimbabwean artist called Munyardzi. Funding from this project help maintain Munyaradzi's family back in Africa.
