Be proud in your own skin

A good story is worth telling no matter what so we pause to highlight Lupita Nyong'o, the beautiful, young black woman, whose poster picture we believe should be placed in the homes of every black woman especially those who are uncomfortable in their own skin, as a constant reminder that "black is beautiful"

Lupita Amondi Nyong'o is a Kenyan actress, film director and music video director who was born in Mexico City, Mexico but moved back to Kenya before she was one year old.  She made her American film debut in the Steve McQueen's '12 Years a Slave' (2013) as Patsey, for which she received critical acclaim.  For her role Nyong'o won the Screen Actors Guild and Critics' Choice Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and was nominated for the Golden Globe, BAFTA and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
